Claire Fox was Jenna Fox' mother and husband of Matthew Fox, the founder of Fox BioSystems. She is described as being very overprotective and not wanting to reveal anything to Jenna.

Claire was one of the biggest inspirational characters for the title, adoring Jenna very much and willing to do anything for her. When Jenna wakes up in her new body, she introduces her to her grandmother Lily, and shows her some of the old tapes of Jenna before the accident. Claire wants Jenna to be in her sight at all times, not wanting her to go out of the house.
